Lots of cake smash sessions this week. It has been great fun! Here's a little preview of one from today. 

This gorgeous girl visited me today on her birthday, I captured some lovely photos of her on her special day. here's a little preview from her session.

Had a couple of great cake smash sessions this week. These are a fantastic way to celebrate babies first birthday if they love a good messy play.  I love putting together little themes or matching colours for these shoots. Cake smash sessions tend to be bright, colourful and lots of fun.

At the start of cake smash sessions we take a couple of photos of our birthday boy or girl in a nice outfit for some more traditional portraits. we then get them changed into a little nappy cover and let them lose on a Giant cupcake. most babies just love squishing it all and painting the floor with cake. After they've had their messy fun we put them in my freestanding baby bathtub for some nice splish splash photos. one of my favourite types of session.
